Crossings
A variety of crossings are available to get you to your chosen destination:
P&O Ferries - Dover/Calais
This crossing option offers a good choice of facilities; there are restaurants, shops and entertainment areas on board. Crossing time is approximately 1½ hours.
P&O North Sea Ferries - Hull to Zeebrugge/Rotterdam
These crossing options are perfect if you live further away from the southern ports. Crossings are overnight and cabin accommodation is included on board. There is a good choice of restaurants, bars and entertainment on board.
Eurotunnel - Folkestone/Calais
The quickest method of crossing the channel and takes only 35 minutes. Whilst there are no facilities on board the train, restaurants and shops can be found in the terminal buildings at each end.
Brittany Ferries
Offering a choice of crossings from Portsmouth direct into Caen/Le Harve and Cherbourg. There are many crossing options from daytime to overnight sailings with cabin accommodation. A great choice for our Normandy tours if you want to avoid travelling down from Calais. Facilities and crossing times vary, depending on the route and time of day. DFDS Seaways - Newcastle/Amsterdam
These crossing options are perfect for departures from the North of England and Scotland. Crossings are overnight and cabin accommodation is included. There is a good choice of restaurants, bars and entertainment on board.
DFDS Seaways - Ferries to France
These crossings operate from Dover into Dunkirk and Calais perfect for Northern France and Belgium. Heading to Normandy then Newhaven to Dieppe puts you just two hours away from Caen.
